Infographics – After hitting a decade-low at the end of 2025, valuations in Europe’s mid-market segment have edged up slightly in the second quarter of 2026. The Argos Index, compiled by Argos Fund and Epsilon Research, now stands at 8.8 times EBITDA, marking a second consecutive quarterly rise. Yet it remains far below the peaks reached five years ago. Deal volumes, meanwhile, are slowing just as uncertainty grows.
